This year's Annual Report looks ahead
Let's look ahead at the opportunities before us in the coming year.
A foundation's annual report typically looks back at "the year that was." This website-based report does provide a historical record of 2010, including our financial data, audit, and lists of grants made.
But let's also look ahead. The Foundation wants the community to understand the types of grants that are available to local nonprofits, how those grants may have changed or been updated, and how you can determine whether you are eligible to apply. The video above is a message from the Foundation; at the left are four links to videos from local nonprofit leaders, explaining what their organizations achieved with different types of grant support. Their stories may spark ideas of how YOUR organization might seize new opportunities.
Information is power; to seize an opportunity, you first have to know about it. So very simply put, the Foellinger Foundation wants to use its annual report to make sure you know about the opportunities available to local nonprofits.
