Terry Stevens
Terry Stevens is the foundation’s Administrative Coordinator and has been with the Foellinger Foundation for 5 years. In addition to providing administrative support to board members, Terry serves as the Foundation's internal information technology resource. She also coordinates building and security services and monitors administrative contracts. Terry is part of the team that develops the Foundation's communication materials. She reviews and logs in grant reports, checks for compliance, and conducts related internet research.

She says that it is sometimes a challenge switching from right brain and left brain issues. One minute she is logging in progress reports and the next minute she is dealing with ceiling leaks! She is looking forward to the Foundation's 50th anniversary next year because she is working on a special project for the celebration.

Shelly McVea
Shelly McVea is the Grants Assistant and has been with the Foellinger Foundation for nearly two years. Shelly processes all grants from intake throughout the life cycle of the grant. She tracks and generates proposals as well as creating and distributing reports to staff and board members.

Shelly says that her job is rewarding in the aspect that there are so many organizations that do good in our community and it is refreshing to know that the Foellinger Foundation helps to support these organizations. She also says it is rewarding to see how children and families are affected by the work that the Foundation supports.

Darryl Olson                                                                                                                                                                                                             Darryl Olson is the Director of Finance and Administration and has been with the Foellinger Foundation for almost three years. He oversees the Foundation's financial and tax reporting, administration, annual audit, and investment portfolio. He also conducts an assessment of grantees' financial status and looks at the impact of financial trends on grantees.

Because of the limited Foundation staff, Darryl assumes a number of different hats. Challenges and opportunities bring him a lot of personal fulfillment. Darryl is inspired by the dedication of the other staff members and the commitment of the organizations with which the Foellinger Foundation works.

Dawn Martz
Dawn Martz is the Senior Program Officer and has been with the Foellinger Foundation for 17 years. Dawn researches all grant applications coordinating the discussion of them among Foundation staff. She works with the president and an outside consultant to refine the Foundation's evaluation system. She reviews progress reports aligning the data and information submitted.

Dawn is privileged to see first-hand the work of many nonprofits and to witness the passion, expertise, and commitment of selfless individuals. She says that it is rewarding to be involved in a process that focuses Foundation grants on effective organizations.

Shari Clemens
You may have seen a new face or heard a new voice at the Foundation. That would be Shari Clemens, who comes to the Foundation through OfficeTeam, an employee leasing organization. Shari began working in August providing administrative support for the team. Shari has over 20 years of experience in the secretarial field. Before starting in her current role, Shari worked for a nonprofit agency in Ohio for seven years.

In addition to providing administrative support at the Foundation, Shari has been maintaining the office library, ordering supplies and planning events as well as answering incoming calls from grantees and others. Be sure to say hello!
