What We Fund

What We Fund: Grant Types / Restrictions

The Foundation will consider these types of grants:

  • Program or operating support.

  • One-year support.

  • Support for existing programs.

  • The Foundation will not accept requests for:

    • Capital support.

    • Support for new programs.

Foundation initiatives. The Foundation may undertake an initiative related to one of its funding priorities. These initiatives may be carried out through grants to community organizations, contracts or a combination of the two.

Grant agreements and results reporting. All grant funding approved by the Foellinger Foundation is contingent upon the grantee entering into a written agreement specifying general and special conditions of the grant – including results reporting. The Foundation expects every grantee to measure and report results, and works hard to ensure that the level of reporting is appropriate for the size and scope of the grant. The grantee’s ability to meet grant agreement conditions will affect future proposals
