What We Fund : Mission

Our vision is to help Allen County residents increase their self-reliance by moving from dependence to independence, to help build community through recognition of their interdependence.

Our mission is to provide grants and technical assistance to strengthen organizations that serve children and families, particularly those with the greatest economic need and the least opportunity.
 

Our strategic intent is to support well-managed, mission-driven, results-oriented nonprofit organizations.

Through its grantmaking program, the Foellinger Foundation seeks the following impact in three primary categories:

• Early Childhood Development: Young children in Allen County will have high quality early childhood education experiences.

• Youth Development: Youth in Allen County will have high quality opportunities to develop healthy, social, academic, and emotional attributes.

• Family Development: Families in Allen County will have high quality opportunities that foster healthy intra-family relationships.
