The Board Series

Strengthen your board leadership. Amplify your results.

Given the challenges facing nonprofits today, engaged leadership matters more than ever. That’s why Foellinger Foundation is offering The Board Series™—a three-part workshop experience designed to equip board and staff leaders with the tools and clarity they need to govern with confidence and purpose.

This spring, we’re inviting one staff member and one board member from our grantee partner organizations to join us for an interactive and highly practical learning series, led by Aly Sterling Philanthropy, a nationally recognized consulting firm that specializes in board governance and fundraising.

This event is by invitation only. Invitations coming soon!

What you’ll gain

The Board Series is built to support nonprofit leaders who want to deepen their understanding of effective board governance. Together, you’ll explore:

  • The purpose, roles, and responsibilities of nonprofit boards and board members.

  • A new framework for board recruitment, orientation, evaluation, policies, and procedures.

  • Strategies for sustainable leadership, engagement, and governance

You’ll also receive access to tools, templates, and a follow-up coaching session to support real-time implementation in your organization.

Why It Matters

Engaged leadership and focused fundraising don’t happen by accident. Instead, these are the results of a shared understanding of purpose, accountability, and mission alignment. The Board Series helps nonprofit leaders step into that shared space with confidence and clarity.

Let’s invest in leadership, together.

Let’s champion opportunity.
