Welcome Andrew Busch, Grants Administrator

Foellinger Foundation is pleased to welcome Andrew Busch as the Grants Administrator. Andrew will provide staff support for the program operations and the centralized administrative function of the grantmaking process.

He brings more than a decade of experience working with an education-focused nonprofit, where he partnered with teachers and school administrators on both sides of the grant process—from writing proposals to managing awarded funds. His experience also includes developing dashboards and reports, which prepared him well for his responsibilities at Foellinger Foundation. Andrew administers the online grant management system, develops grant agreements and reporting tools, and provides ongoing support to the Foundation’s Leadership and Thrive Committees.

Andrew has witnessed firsthand the powerful impact grant funding can have on educational institutions, early learning programs, and professional development, and how these programs help a community thrive. “Nonprofits typically work with underserved communities to provide services and opportunities these communities might not receive otherwise. As part of the communities of Fort Wayne and Allen County, we should strive to support nonprofits in this work,” Andrew shared.

“Andrew brings a strong combination of technical expertise and real-world grant experience to our team,” said Amanda Jamison, Chief Program Officer. “His thoughtful, detail-oriented approach ensures that our systems run smoothly and our grantees get the timely, accurate support they deserve.”

As a Fort Wayne native, Andrew says he finds meaning in supporting the community that raised him—and in contributing to the legacy of the Foellinger family.
