Tuesday, March 10, 2026: Session One (Afternoon)
Foellinger Foundation invites our grantee partners to participate in a conflict resolution workshop. This interactive professional development program is designed to teach participants new skills for engaging with difficult conversations and interpersonal challenges. Leaders often encounter tough conversations and conflicts with both their direct reports and clients. Using the analogy of dance, attendees will explore fundamental concepts of conflict resolution.
Two workshop sessions are available. You only need to attend one session. Choose from these two options:
Tuesday, March 10, 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM (afternoon session)
1:00 PM – 1:30 PM connection time and refreshments
1:30 PM – 4:30 PM workshop
Wednesday, March 11, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (morning session)
8:30 AM – 9:00 AM connection time and breakfast
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM workshop
This interactive workshop is offered in partnership with ULEAD, an Indiana-based leadership development organization. Participants will be invited to engage in role-play and skill-development activities to contextualize learning in their leadership roles and practices.

Workshop Learning Objectives:
Discover new mindsets around what conflict is and ways to approach it with clarity and compassion.
Grow conflict and communication skills for immediate application in organizational culture.
Be inspired to develop new leadership habits and practices to navigate difficult conversations.
Key Lessons Include:
Reframing conflict from opposition to a new mindset of collaboration and struggling WITH instead of against.
The four dance moves of Connection, Clarity, Curiosity, and Commitment.
Techniques for giving and receiving feedback.
Shifting mindsets to take these dance moves out onto the dance floor of your organization.
